Offer Description

The School of Computer Science and Mathematics is dedicated to producing research that has real-world application, boasting specialisms in immersive technologies, applications of artificial intelligence, trustworthy computing technologies and data science.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the continued enhancement of the courses within the Computer Science and Mathematics programmes, developing and delivering innovative and engaging curricula across undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
  • Deliver intellectually stimulating teaching while motivating and supporting students in their learning.
  • Conduct research in your area of expertise and undertake scholarly activities in computer science to ensure curriculum is up-to-date and meets the needs of students and employers.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of outreach and engagement initiatives as well as interdisciplinary project areas.
Qualifications
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer with experience in Ethical Hacking, System Penetration, Secure Software Development, Information Security and Cryptography.
  • PhD in a related subject and/or relevant professional experience from industry.
  • Experienced or certified in Ethical Hacking strongly desired.
