This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality ICT education and support students in developing the technical knowledge and skills required for further study and employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective ICT lessons across the relevant curriculum.


• Plan and deliver lessons, learning activities and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.


• Support students with their academic and technical development.


• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.


• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.


• Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.


• Use practical and engaging teaching methods to develop students' digital and technical skills.


• Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team.


• Support students in developing the skills required for further study and employment.

About You

• Experience teaching ICT within an FE or Sixth Form setting.


• Strong subject knowledge across ICT and computing-related topics.


• A recognised teaching qualification.


• A degree in ICT, Computing, Information Technology or a relevant subject.


• Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.


• Ability to engage and motivate learners.


• Strong practical and technical ICT knowledge.


• A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve strong academic and career outcomes.
