About The CandidateAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Beauty Therapy professional to join our ambitious and forward-thinking team at Sunderland College.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Beauty Therapy Programme Lead & Lecturer to join our salon professionals team and play a key role in delivering an outstanding learner experience across our Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity for an industry professional who is passionate about sharing their knowledge, developing future talent and preparing learners for successful careers within the beauty industry. You will bring a strong combination of industry expertise, teaching experience and a genuine passion for supporting learners to achieve their potential.
As a key member of our collaborative and dedicated team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, ensuring our learners develop the technical skills, professional knowledge and confidence required to thrive in the workplace.
Role Responsibilities- Deliver engaging sessions, ensuring curriculum relevance and alignment with the awarding body and college policies.
- Develop learning resources, plan engaging lessons and maintain accurate student records and assessment documentation.
- Lead and coordinate programme delivery, ensuring courses are well organised, compliant and responsive to student and industry needs.
- Monitor student progress, attendance and wellbeing, providing guidance, feedback and appropriate support where required.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, employers and external partners to enhance the student experience and industry engagement.
- Contribute to curriculum development, student recruitment activities, quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects.
- Lead on quality assurance and compliance for your study programmes.
Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification
Essential Skills & ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of working within the sector.
Desirable Skills & ExperienceLevel 5 teaching qualification is desirable and candidates will need to commit to
