EXPERIENCED LEASING LAWYER M/F
Temporary Contract/Fixed-term contratc
What will your day look like?
Reporting to a Sr. Legal Manager, you will be responsible for all leasing aspects of a portfolio of shopping centers, for which you will be the main point of contact for asset managers, center directors, commercialization managers, etc., with whom you will be in constant interaction.
Acting as a true Business Partner, your missions will include:
- Drafting and negotiating, in connection with the leasing and asset management departments, all types of documents by which a space is rented or made available to a third party for other than residential use, and all subsequent documents (i.e., lease promise, lease, occupancy agreement, amendments, protocol, etc.);
- Advising internal clients within the URW teams on the legal aspects related to the leasing agreements and commercial operations at stake, as well as on the legal impacts of projected operations, being proactive in proposing appropriate legal solutions;
- Participating in cross-functional projects related to the Group's objectives;
- Managing, in close collaboration with lawyers, all leasing disputes in the portfolio (including renewals, collections, insolvency proceedings, etc.), including determining the strategy based on prior risk analysis;
- Participating in the development and regular updating of document templates used in negotiations;
- Monitoring legal, regulatory, and case law developments related to leasing issues and shopping centers;
- Assisting and collaborating in legal issues that the Senior Legal Manager may delegate.

What we are looking for
The Must Haves:
- With a Legal Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from a top-tier University, you have significant experience in commercial leases of at least 5 years, acquired in a company or law firm.
- You have a good command of technical leasing aspects (particularly in commercial leases, civil procedure, and contract law), enabling you to analyze and handle the files entrusted to you with technical expertise, perspective, and agility.
- Dynamic and positive, you are recognized for your team spirit, analytical and synthesis skills, as well as your strong writing skills and organizational qualities.
- Your negotiation skills, interpersonal ease, and autonomy will be important assets to success in this position and within the Group.
- You are capable of handling files in project mode with a business and operational approach focused on results.
- Spanish and high level English is a must.
