Learning Support Assistant Coventry

Hays Education are partnering with a specialist education provider in Coventry seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support young people with additional learning needs. This is a hands on role where you'll help students develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and achieve their individual goals.

Your new role

• Provide classroom and individual learning support
• Help students stay engaged and motivated throughout the day
• Support emotional, social, and personal development
• Assist with life skills, independence, and community based activities
• Work closely with teaching staff and specialist support teams

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous childcare experience is essential
• Experience in schools, nurseries, youth work, care settings, or support work is highly desirable
• A patient, resilient, and positive attitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A genuine passion for supporting individuals with additional needs
