We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our successful King's Trust Team Programme within Adult & Future Skills.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 16-25 as they develop confidence, employability skills, resilience and aspirations through a programme of personal development, community projects, work placements and team activities.

Working closely with the Course Manager, you will provide tailored support to learners, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them realise their potential.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to learners participating in the King's Trust Team Programme.
• Support learners with additional learning, social, emotional or behavioural needs.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of classroom-based learning activities.
• Support learners during community projects, volunteering activities, employer visits and work placements.
• Help learners develop confidence, communication, team working and employability skills.
• Promote positive behaviour, attendance, engagement and achievement.
• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records of support provided.
• Work collaboratively with the Team Leader and wider support teams to ensure learners receive appropriate support.
• Contribute to safeguarding and learner wellbeing processes.
• Accompany learners on educational visits, residential activities and off-site learning opportunities where required.

Start Date The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month ( unless there is a bank holiday).
