Job Description

Salary: £18,500-£22,500

Job Type: Full time

Join a dedicated SEN school as a Learning Mentor, supporting students with SEMH needs. You will work closely with pupils to help them develop coping strategies, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Proficiency in creating visual schedules and task analysis.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Strong understanding of mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
  • Experience in implementing strategies to support emotional well being.
Qualifications / Experience
  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
