Job Description
Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse at Village Animal Hospital - up to £34,000 DOE

Village Animal Hospital, located in the lovely town of Caterham in Surrey, England. With a team of dedicated professionals and a state-of-the-art facility, we believe in providing comprehensive care to all the animals we see, regardless of their size or species. Our team is experienced in treating a wide range of animals, including birds, cats, dogs, poultry and small mammals.

We are searching for a dedicated Lead Veterinary Nurse to join us on a 40 hour contract, this can be altered to 35 hours for the right candidate!

Ideally, you will have 5 years of experience to include previous or current hospital care

What will you be doing?
  • Leading and managing a small team of RVNs across our two branches
  • Ensuring stock control and ordering supplies
  • Ensuring protocols and procedures are up to date and being carried out effectively
  • Leading by example in providing excellent standards of care
  • Deputising in Head Nurse's absence
  • Schedule 3 procedures as an option
  • Working across inpatient, consulting and operations shifts
