Job Description

An opportunity to play a pivotal part within this company's trajectory - equity included on top of salary.

The client

Working for a fast-paced, AI-powered, B2B SaaS start-up. You'll be part of a small UK team (with colleagues globally), reporting directly to the CEO and essentially become his right hand person.

The company is refining its go-to-market strategy and has received feedback from early users. The product (a B2B production process platform) is out there but aims to evolve from a usable product into a lovable one!

These guys are taking a Silicon Valley approach, so you'd need to be prepared to scale fast and comfortable working within a level of ambiguity.

Hybrid working - London office - hiring manager is set on someone being based in London or surrounding areas - there will be times when you might need to come in at short notice.

Sponsorship is NOT being offered.

The role
  • Perform end-to-end design process from problem definition and research to high-fidelity prototypes and implementation.
  • Develop comprehensive information architecture systems that organize content and functionality in intuitive, accessible ways.
  • Plan and conduct customer research to uncover insights, validate assumptions, and inform product decisions.
  • Drive product discovery activities to identify opportunities and explore potential solutions.
  • Create innovative user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts.
The candidate

MUST HAVE experience includes;

  • Strong Information Architecture skills (this is a proper UX job, not looking for UI or Product Design). Looking for portfolios which clearly demonstrate UX processes, user research, and a strong level of user centricity overall - no harm showing hi-fidelity work but need the rest to back it all up.
  • Recent (last 3 years) start-up experience and comfortable with that fast-paced culture and occasional late finish, potentially at short notice (as is the nature of how these businesses can be).
  • Recent (last 3 years) experience in B2B SaaS design i.e., working on platforms.
  • Expecting someone with around 10+ years experience for this one.
  • Strong communication skills are also a given.
  • You need to have been in some long-term stints over the past few years - hiring manager is keen for someone with evidence of staying power to bed-in with them long term.

Please note: this has a 3-stage interview process which includes a (paid-for) task.

Sounds like a lot but all being well, you'll have had a massive influence on the product and a chunk of change from your equity!
