Lead Technical Consultant - VMware vSphere | OpenShift

Contract Length: 12-Month Contract

Location: Sheffield (3 Days Onsite)

Rate: Up to £750 per day

We're supporting a major enterprise transformation programme seeking a Senior Technical Transformation Lead to drive delivery across large-scale infrastructure and application migration workstreams. This is a highly visible role focused on accelerating delivery, removing blockers, influencing senior stakeholders and driving decision-making across multiple technical domains. You'll work closely with senior technology leaders and executive stakeholders to ensure programme objectives are delivered at pace whilst balancing risk and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive progress across complex migration and transformation workstreams.
• Remove delivery blockers, risks and dependencies.
• Influence technical and business stakeholders to accelerate decision-making.
• Coordinate activities across infrastructure, applications, cloud, security and architecture teams.
• Escalate and resolve issues impacting programme delivery.
• Challenge existing approaches and drive pragmatic outcomes.
• Provide clear updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise transformation or migration programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience working across multiple infrastructure and application domains.
• Track record of driving delivery in complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to operate confidently with senior technology and executive stakeholders.
• Strong risk, dependency and issue management experience.
