Job Description

We're looking for an exceptional Lead Technical Architect to help us make a difference to our planet.

Hybrid Working

As our Lead Technical Architect, the role is suitable for hybrid working: part of the week in the office and part from home.

Hours

Full time - 37 hours per week, but applicants willing to work a minimum of 33 hours are considered.

Your Role
  • Design and oversee robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions.
  • Provide architectural leadership across projects, championing best practices.
  • Drive technological innovation and efficiency improvements.
  • Mentor and guide technical staff.
  • Set and uphold high-quality architectural standards.
  • Engage in complex problem solving and strategic decision making.
  • Ensure systems and services are resilient and responsive.
  • Safeguard the organisation's reputation for meteorological excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong background in IT Architecture and Microsoft platforms.
  • Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, and related cloud services.
  • Proven track record in architecting enterprise solutions.
  • Experience in setting and governing architectural standards.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
