Vacancy - Lead System Architect - Intelligent Power Supply (Hardware, Firmware & Cloud)


Location: Hybrid - Belgium (Freelance or Employee)

At Tesla Networks, we build the future by making complex digital infrastructures feel simple, scalable, and smart. To strengthen our innovation program in the public transportation energy sector, we are looking for a multi-disciplinary Technical Expert who will take the lead in shaping a next-gen intelligent power supply - from hardware to user interface.


You'll guide the project from vision to reality, working with external partners to engineer the hardware, develop embedded firmware, structure cloud/server architecture, and design the end-user application (desktop and/or mobile).



We're looking for a - with a passion for building, guiding, and refining.

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or similar

• Minimum 5 years of experience in end-to-end hardware-firmware projects

• Proven expertise in Power Electronics and IoT-based embedded solutions


• Hardware Design: DC-DC converters, PCB design, EMC compliance

• Firmware: C/C++, RTOS, microcontrollers

• Server Architecture: Cloud services, database design, cybersecurity

• Front-End & App Development: Web and/or mobile (iOS/Android)

• Project Management: Agile/Scrum, risk & milestone planning



• Strong analytical mindset

• Proactive and independent

• Clear communicator

• "Build it to last" mentality



• Fluent in Dutch and English

This is more than an engineering challenge - you will be financially accountable for turning specs into a realistic product roadmap.



• Orchestrate the full development lifecycle (HW, FW, server, app)

• Build detailed cost estimations and long-term budget forecasts

• Manage vendor sourcing, technical negotiations & delivery milestones


• Experience in cost modeling: engineering hours, BOM, certifications

• Familiarity with budget monitoring tools

• Risk quantification and forecast scenario building



• Ongoing budget tracking & variance analysis

• Liaison with finance & supply chain teams

• Confident negotiator: better prices, sharper delivery terms

• Contract-savvy: understanding of Statements of Work (SOWs) and risk-mitigation clauses



• Data-driven decision-making on cost/time trade-offs

• Scenario planning under uncertainty (delays, market price shifts)
