Job Description
Lead Consultant - Business Applications (Sage 200)

Location: United Kingdom with travel to client sites
Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £75,000 (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Sage 200 implementations, from scoping through to delivery and support
  2. Support pre-sales activities with demos, quotes, and proposals
  3. Run client discovery sessions and document requirements
  4. Configure systems, migrate data, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  5. Manage project documentation and client communication
  6. Act as a mentor to junior consultants
  7. Provide expert support and escalation via the Support Desk
  8. Stay current with product trends and maintain certifications
Essential Skills & Experience
  1. 5+ years' experience with Sage 200, including:
    • Sicon Manufacturing, WAP, and Projects
    • Sage 50
    • CIM50 Manufacturing
    • Draycir / Eureka Add-ons
  2. Strong project planning skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  3. Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles
  4. Proficient with:
    • Windows and Server OS
    • Office 365
    • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
    • SQL
  5. Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting Sage solutions
  6. Proven ability to coach and mentor others
  7. Experience working with clients across varied industries and requirements
Desirable
  1. Accreditations in:
    • Sage 200 Financials, Commercials, BOM
    • Sage Report Designer
  2. Manufacturing industry experience
  3. Background in pre-sales support
