We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join a team focused on testing third-party applications-including games, web, consumer, and professional apps-on new Mac hardware platforms. This role involves both manual and automated testing, with a strong emphasis on Audio/Video workflows and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Lead QA Duties
- Act as the primary point of contact for QA activities.
- Ensure test cases are clearly understood and executed to specification.
- Provide feedback on test execution and bug reports.
- Submit internal weekly reports on time and in line with guidelines.
General QA Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans across various Mac hardware.
- Perform functional, compatibility, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Conduct thorough application testing, including Audio/Video workflows.
- Validate fixes and verify bug resolutions through manual verification.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to drive quality improvements.
- Execute assigned test cases as per specification and schedule.
- Report issues with detailed reproduction steps and logs.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the team.
- macOS Expertise: Strong familiarity with Apple Mac hardware and software.
- QA Methodologies: Solid understanding of test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
- Manual & Automated Testing: Experience with both approaches.
- Test Case Development: Ability to write reusable and detailed test cases.
- Hardware Testing: Skilled in testing across multiple Mac configurations.
- Python: Proficiency in Scripting for automation and data analysis.
- Communication: Clear reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
