Job Description
Overview:

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join a team focused on testing third-party applications-including games, web, consumer, and professional apps-on new Mac hardware platforms. This role involves both manual and automated testing, with a strong emphasis on Audio/Video workflows and cross-functional collaboration.


Responsibilities:

Lead QA Duties

  • Act as the primary point of contact for QA activities.
  • Ensure test cases are clearly understood and executed to specification.
  • Provide feedback on test execution and bug reports.
  • Submit internal weekly reports on time and in line with guidelines.

General QA Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans across various Mac hardware.
  • Perform functional, compatibility, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Conduct thorough application testing, including Audio/Video workflows.
  • Validate fixes and verify bug resolutions through manual verification.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to drive quality improvements.
Deliverables:
  • Execute assigned test cases as per specification and schedule.
  • Report issues with detailed reproduction steps and logs.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the team.
Key Skills:
  • macOS Expertise: Strong familiarity with Apple Mac hardware and software.
  • QA Methodologies: Solid understanding of test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Manual & Automated Testing: Experience with both approaches.
  • Test Case Development: Ability to write reusable and detailed test cases.
  • Hardware Testing: Skilled in testing across multiple Mac configurations.
  • Python: Proficiency in Scripting for automation and data analysis.
  • Communication: Clear reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
