Lead Project Planner/Scheduler - Construction Phase

Our client is a leading global EPCM company with worldwide operations and projects across Ireland. They are currently seeking an experienced Lead Project Planner to join their team in a large-scale project based in Limerick. This role is site-based, and you will be working as part of an established project planning team.

Responsibilities & Experience Required
  • Lead and manage the project schedule for an EPCM project scope
  • Work effectively as part of a planning team, supporting overall project delivery
  • Review, interpret and understand engineering deliverables and drawings
  • A good understanding of project controls activities, including contracting and interface management (tender milestones, contract milestones and extension of time evaluations)
  • Lead and facilitate interactive planning sessions and coordination meetings
  • Manage interfaces with sub-contractors and support schedule integration
  • Establish, manage and maintain an earned value progress reporting system
  • Utilise planning software effectively, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and MS Office
  • Apply strong communication and interpersonal skills across all project interfaces
  • Support Last Planner System interactions where applicable
Requirements
  • 10+ years' relevant experience in a similar role
  • Degree qualified in engineering / technical discipline or similar.
  • Strong Pharmaceutical Background
  • Excellent computer skills including PrimaveraP6, Microsoft Project and MS Office Suite and previous experience of working within a multiuserP6 environment (e.g. Loadspring)
  • Good knowledge of design deliverables and sub-contractor mobilisation activities
  • 4D BIM experience would be beneficial but is not essential
