Lead Project Planner / Scheduler - Construction Phase 
CMV Project Limerick Site Based
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Lead Project Planner / Scheduler to support the construction phase of the CMV Project at site in Limerick. The role will take full ownership of project planning and scheduling activities within a pharmaceutical environment, working closely with project controls, engineering teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure programme objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and coordinate the project planning function across the construction phase of the CMV Project.
- Develop, maintain, and control detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Establish and manage an earned value progress reporting system.
- Chair and facilitate interactive planning and coordination meetings on site.
- Interface effectively with subcontractors, managing schedule inputs, progress updates, and mobilisation activities.
- Work closely with wider project controls functions, including tender milestones, contract milestones, and extension of time evaluations.
- Review and interpret engineering and construction deliverables to ensure schedule integrity and alignment with site activities.
- Operate within a multi user Primavera P6 environment, ensuring strong data governance and schedule integration.
- Support Last Planner System interfaces and collaborative planning initiatives.
- Ensure alignment between design deliverables, construction sequencing, and subcontractor mobilisation.
- Minimum 10 years' project planning / scheduling experience.
- Strong pharmaceutical construction background is essential.
- Proven experience leading a team of planners or acting as the senior planner within a project team.
- Strong technical capability with the ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
- Demonstrable experience managing and interfacing with subcontractors on live construction sites.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction project controls, contracting strategies, and schedule risk management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence operating in a site based, multi disciplinary environment.
- Experience with the Last Planner System is required.
- 4D BIM experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing complex construction schedules in a fast paced project environment.
