- Build trusted partnerships - Use your HR expertise and business acumen to establish trusted relationships with senior leaders, becoming their go-to strategic partner for all things people
- Drive organisational excellence - Work with the People Director to design and develop initiatives that ensure the health, happiness and high performance of teams across Zopa
- Lead with data - Proactively analyse people metrics to inform strategic workforce planning and drive commercial growth through people insights
- Champion our culture - Be a visible People champion across the business, keeping diversity, equity and inclusion at the heart of everything you do
- Develop leaders - Coach managers and leaders to enhance their effectiveness, providing guidance that transforms good managers into great ones
- Navigate complexity - Advise on the full spectrum of employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with UK employment law while maintaining our unique culture
- Shape the future - Collaborate with the wider People Function to define initiatives, policies and tools that enable business success
- Build talent pipelines - Identify and nurture our best people, driving effective succession planning and ensuring we're ready for our next phase of growth
- Proven People Partner - Demonstrable experience partnering with senior stakeholders in scaling businesses (high-tech preferred), balancing transactional HR with strategic initiatives
- Commercially minded - Clear understanding of how people levers drive business growth, with the ability to connect HR initiatives to commercial outcomes
- Change leader - Strong track record leading scale change initiatives and complex projects that transform how organisations work
- Data-driven - Analytical mindset with proven experience using people data to support business decisions and drive insights
- Employment law expert - Excellent understanding of UK employment law and how to apply it pragmatically in a fast-growth context
- High EQ leader - Reputation for unquestionable integrity, exceptional emotional intelligence, and an inclusive mindset
- Performance coach - Evidence of coaching teams to higher performance in growth environments
- Cool under pressure - Demonstrated good judgement in difficult and deadline-driven situations
- Agility, adaptability, and pragmatism in approaching challenges
