Lead Paediatric Nurse - Complex Care Location: Hybrid WorkingSalary: Up to £40,000 per annumJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentHours: 37.5 hours per week About the Role As the Lead Paediatric Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for a caseload of children with complex medical needs, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered safely and effectively. Working within a hybrid model, you will balance clinical, operational, and leadership responsibilities, supporting care teams, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and liaising with multidisciplinary professionals and family members. Key Responsibilities 
- Lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality complex care services for children and young people.
- Conduct clinical assessments, reviews, and risk assessments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and training to care teams.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements, and clinical governance frameworks.
- Build strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
- Participate in regular quality assurance audits and service improvement initiatives.
- Support with service development and contribute to the growth of the complex care division.
- Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RCN) with active NMC registration.
- Significant paediatric nursing experience.
- Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs.
- Competency and hands-on experience with:
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilator management
- PEG feeding and enteral nutrition
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
