As a Lead Operations Manager at Futurice, you'll play a vital role in supporting the UK business, driving operational excellence across core business functions, commercial performance, and team enablement in a fast-moving, client-focused environment.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role where you'll:

  1. Partner with the People & Operations team and cross-functional leaders to deliver streamlined, scalable processes that enable our teams to perform at their best.
  2. Work with global Operations heads, our Finance Director, and colleagues across Futurice to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
  3. Own and enhance commercial and operational data, reporting, and analysis to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  4. Drive workforce planning, staffing allocations, hiring requirements, and cost management strategies.
  5. Embed and champion AI, automation, and data-driven tools into our working culture.
  6. Actively manage IT, compliance, and legal matters relevant to the UK business, ensuring regulatory requirements are met and risks mitigated.
Skills & Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Proven experience in an operations, finance, or commercial role within the technology or agency/consulting sectors.
  • Experience in resource management - ensuring effective allocation of people and budgets across multiple projects or accounts.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to leverage data and financial metrics to drive outcomes.
  • A proactive and thoughtful approach to supporting people and teams, communicating calmly and effectively to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable operational processes and financial controls.
  • Familiarity with ERP and PSA solutions (e.g. Salesforce, Harvest, Certinia) and financial systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero).
  • A strong interest in championing AI literacy and embedding AI/automation tools (e.g. N8N, Make) into workflows.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, changing environment.

We use a transparent salary model based on your skills, responsibilities, and impact. The salary band for this role is £70k - £80k, depending on experience.
