You will champion our health and environmental strategies across all school contracts, ensure 100% compliance with School Food Standards, and drive our competitive edge in securing and retaining business. You will also be our brand ambassador on the ground, delivering high-impact workshops to school communities. Role Responsibility Commercial Growth & Bids: Act as the subject matter expert during the tender process, writing compelling responses on nutrition, allergens, and carbon reduction. Attend finals presentations to pitch Stir's philosophy confidently to Headteachers, Governors, and Trust Executives. Community Engagement: Plan and deliver interactive, age-appropriate student workshops (e.g., cooking demos, "Seed-to-Plate" sessions) and host engagement evenings for parents regarding menu nutrition and allergen safety. Nutritional & Allergen Compliance: Ensure all menus meet UK School Food Standards and Natasha's Law requirements. Utilise nutritional analysis software (e.g., Saffron, Nutritics) to manage special diets safely. Sustainability Initiatives: Partner with procurement and culinary teams to engineer plant-forward, low-carbon menus that reduce our environmental footprint. The Ideal Candidate A degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or Sustainability. ANutr or RNutr status is highly desirable. Minimum 3 years' experience in UK contract catering (ideally education). Proven experience contributing to successful bid tenders and presenting to corporate or public sector boards. Exceptional public speaking skills, with the ability to instantly adapt your style from a room of 7-year-olds to a corporate boardroom. An understanding of how to balance premium nutrition and sustainability within tight, commercially viable school lunch budgets.
