Job Description

The Tissue Viability Lead provides expert clinical leadership for all aspects of wound care and pressure ulcer prevention across Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The role ensures high-quality, evidence-based care through strategic planning, service development, education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • Current healthcare professional registration e.g. NMC or AHP
  • Educated to master's Level or equivalent experience
  • Experience of managing tissue viability concerns in both acute and community settings.
  • Experience of developing and delivery of training/education to all staff groups
  • Recent clinical experience within an acute setting within the last 2 years
  • Nurse Independent / Supplementary prescriber
  • Experience of multi-agency working
