We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking a proactive and commercially minded Lead Generation Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building relationships, and has the confidence to engage directly with prospective clients.
You will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities, driving engagement through outbound activity, and contributing to a strong, high-quality sales pipeline. Working closely with both the Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager, you will ensure seamless alignment across campaigns, lead-generation initiatives, and market outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and engage potential clients across key sectors.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through outbound calling, email outreach, LinkedIn activity, networking, and market research.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to utilise campaign data and insights to target the right audiences.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track all pipeline activity.
Opportunity Identification
- Understand customer needs, challenges, and buying triggers to determine where products and services can add value.
- Qualify prospects based on commercial viability, business scale, and service requirements.
- Share insights with marketing to strengthen targeting and messaging.
Enquiry Generation & Sales Support
- Initiate conversations with prospective customers to create new enquiries.
- Prepare and send introductory information, follow-up documentation, and proposals where required.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work daily with the marketing team to ensure consistency between marketing campaigns and outbound business development activity.
- Provide regular updates and pipeline reporting, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the sales process.
Relationship Building
- Build trust-based, long-term relationships with potential clients.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
- Experience in business development, lead generation, telesales, or an outbound commercial role is highly desirable.
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with decision-makers at all levels.
- Strong research capabilities and the ability to identify high-value opportunities.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive in generating new business.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and basic sales tools.
