Lead Functional Integration Engineer

Excel Technical Consulting have a new and exciting role available in the East of England to oversee and take accountability for the Integration and Systems Validation (ISV) functions lead for missile compatibility and integration. You will be the Lead Functional Integration Engineer holding responsibilities for specific missile programmes within the ISV function as well as supporting the Chief Systems Engineer in the delivery of various system integration activities regarding test missile and munition equipment.

Your daily tasks as lead for the department could include:

• Liaising with various project stakeholders to plan key design verification and evidence,
• Manage and mentoring Integration Engineers,
• Taking a hands on and practical approach in the planning and conduct of integration and compatibility proving activities where required,
• Working collaboratively with internal departments such as systems and software project teams.

Overall, we are looking for a determined and experienced candidate with a deep understanding of hardware/software integration and test activities as well as a familiarity in using both lab test equipment and data analysis tooling/methods.
