Lead Full Stack Developer Lead, Build, and Shape the Future of a Next Gen SaaS Platform

Our client, a fast scaling, well funded technology company, is searching for a hands on Lead Full Stack Developer to drive the next evolution of a platform trusted by some of the UK's most recognisable brands.

The Opportunity

As the Technical Team Lead, you'll split your time between hands on engineering ( 60%) and guiding a growing team of developers. You'll shape engineering standards, partner closely with external agencies, and drive a strategic migration from legacy Service Fabric architecture to a modern, scalable Kubernetes based platform.

Your work will define the foundation of the company's future product suite - this is genuine, long term technical influence in a scale up environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and mentoring a team of 3-6 engineers, with significant growth expected
• Remaining hands on with code ( 60%) while raising engineering standards
• Owning the technical direction for the Connect 2.0 migration
• Designing scalable backend systems built on Kubernetes
• Driving frontend delivery using React
• Collaborating with partner agencies to ensure consistent engineering excellence
• Making strategic decisions across integrations, frameworks, and cloud architecture
• Contributing to a secure, high performance SaaS platform
• Influencing product direction alongside engineering and product leadership

What You'll Bring

• Strong full stack engineering background
• Experience with both Kubernetes (backend) and React (frontend)
• Prior team leadership, mentoring or technical ownership
• Experience building or scaling modern SaaS platforms
• Solid cloud knowledge, ideally Azure
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills
• A pragmatic, hands on engineering mindset with a passion for quality
• Architectural experience, or the ambition to step into that responsibility

• Backend: C#, .NET, Kubernetes
• Frontend: React, JavaScript
• Infrastructure: Azure, Cosmos DB, modern CI/CD
• Legacy (during migration): Service Fabric
