We are seeking a Lead Crew Planning Consultant (13 Month FTC) to join our Fleet People Operations department, bringing fresh insights and expertise.

Role Overview

The Senior Crew Planner is responsible for crew planning within their designated team area, ensuring vessels are properly resourced with qualified and experienced crew members. This role acts as a subject matter expert for crew planning, ensuring optimal utilization of seafarers, collaborating with Resourcing to maintain the required fleet establishment, and responding to change to ensure efficiency of scheduling. You will support team members in managing unplanned activities and escalate issues appropriately.

You will build best practices across brand operations, working with peers to ensure standards are met, identifying areas for improvement, and embedding these through training to promote consistency. Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships is essential to drive positive business outcomes.

You will be accountable for planning efficiency, ensuring cost-effective decisions that balance crew experience with business performance. Additionally, you will manage a team, providing development opportunities and performance management.

This role involves:

  1. Team Management - delivering performance management, development, and operational support
  2. Stakeholder Relations - collaborating with ship and shore stakeholders and Global Talent Partners
  3. Accountability - managing utilization, costs, onboard team strength, and risk escalation
  4. Relationship Management - maintaining key relationships with stakeholders
  5. Crew Experience - prioritizing crew wellbeing in decision-making

This position is at CUK09 level, available on a full-time 13-month fixed-term basis starting September 2025. Hybrid work, including up to two days from home, is offered.
