Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide BMS System technical and engineering support
- Complete all relevant project documentation
- Perform highly skilled commissioning tests on instrumentation and control apparatus as per procedures
- Carry out commissioning activities on control circuits, VSDs, AHUs, level, flow, temperature, and pressure control devices
- Review and ensure correct execution of commissioning procedures with guidance from Project Commissioning Engineers
- Read, interpret, and work from vendor documentation, project drawings, schematic diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Analyze work problems and make corrections to facilitate system completion
- Lead technical and quality requirements on projects
- Ensure adherence to company quality processes and procedures
- Allocate tasks to the commissioning test team and monitor progress
- Establish positive working relationships with supervisors and personnel departments
- Understand and follow all safe systems of work
- Support the Project Commissioning Engineer in technical delivery and scope management
- Identify project opportunities and variations
- Assist in managing risks and issues during project commissioning
- Support project delivery strategy development and planning for each BMS system
- Provide health and safety leadership by example
The EC&I Test Team Leader (Commissioning) typically undertakes:
- Site surveys as required
- Toolbox talks within the team
- Development of test specifications and testing methodologies
- Development of site work documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and test documentation
- Development of O&M documentation with input from the project team
- Supervision of full integrated system testing, CFAT, SAT, and calibration testing if necessary
- Observation, variation, and rework management
- Previous technical experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control fields
- Experience in the Nuclear Industry
- Experience supervising a team of Electrical/Instrument technicians
