Job Description

Civil Litigation Lawyer needed in Morden Paying £40.16 per hr ref

Full-time hours on a temporary basis

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil Litigation Lawyer to join our in-house legal team on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and collegiate environment, delivering high-quality legal services across five Boroughs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload including:
    • Non-residential property litigation
    • Commercial and contract disputes
    • Debt recovery
    • Public law disputes
    • Discrimination and equality claims
    • Injunctions and non-housing judicial reviews
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice to senior officers and elected Members.
  • Support the delivery of key initiatives across multiple Boroughs.
  • Draft legal documents and represent the organisation in legal proceedings.
