Lawyer - Serious Injury
Posted 9 hours 40 minutes ago by Slater Gordon
We are actively recruiting for a talented lawyer to join our serious injury team in Manchester or Liverpool.
We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate prior experience and expertise working on claims of the utmost severity, such as brain and spinal injury and amputation cases, with an emphasis on road traffic accidents.
We would like candidates who have experience managing their own caseload, ideally multi-track, but we are also open to those who have worked on fast-track claims. This role is ideal for someone seeking further exposure to high-value, complex cases, working exclusively on behalf of claimants.
We're looking for someone capable of undertaking substantive work on these cases with minimal assistance. You will be involved in cases from the outset and throughout their duration, giving you the opportunity to understand the issues involved and assist with tasks such as instructing medical experts, handling disclosure, proofing witnesses, and preparing well-structured witness statements.
What we offer in return:
We provide a wide range of core and voluntary benefits:
- Hybrid working - 2 days per week in the office (must live reasonably close to commute)
- 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Buy and sell annual leave up to 5 days
- Employee Referral scheme with payments up to £2000 per referral
- Aviva Digicare+ Workplace App with health checks, Digital GP's, mental health support, and more
- Employee Assistance Programme offering webinars and counselling
- Group Income Protection for long-term illness or injury
- Health and Wellbeing programmes including gym discounts, private medical insurance, cycle to work scheme, and meditation sessions
- Life Assurance cover
- Benefits Hub with discounts on cinema tickets, food, travel, and retail
- Free legal help and discounted lawyer-led legal services
