Job Title: Laser OperativeLocation: Stoke-on-TrentDuration: Temp to perm/ ongoing contractPay Rate: DOEShift: NightsWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Operative to join a well-established manufacturing operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a night shift position offered on a temp-to-perm basis, providing an excellent opportunity for long-term employment.Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate laser cutting machinery (CNC preferred) Load and unload materials onto the machine safely Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as required Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met Carry out routine maintenance and keep work area clean and organised Work efficiently to meet production deadlinesRequirements: Previous experience operating laser cutting machines Ability to read engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality control Good understanding of sheet metal processes Ability to work independently on night shiftsShift Details:Night shifts (hours to be confirmed), with regular overtime available.Contract Type:Temporary to Permanent opportunity for the right candidate.What's on Offer: Overtime opportunities Long-term career prospects within a growing business Supportive team environment
