Job Description
Landscaper - 6 month FTC

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Are you a passionate Landscaper eager to make a tangible impact on ecosystem recovery? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to rewilding half the planet by 2050? If so, we invite you to join Ecosulis as our new Landscaper. At Ecosulis, we are pioneers in rewilding science and policy, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to help us deliver efficient, scalable nature-based solutions that allow nature and business to thrive together.

About the role

As a Landscaper at Ecosulis, you will play a key role in delivering a broad range of ecological and landscaping projects that support our mission to accelerate nature recovery through rewilding. You will be responsible for the physical creation and enhancement of diverse habitats-from wildflower meadows to wetlands-while ensuring the long-term health and maintenance of these vital sites.

Roles and responsibilities
  • Habitat Creation & Restoration: Assist with establishing and maintaining diverse habitats like wetlands and woodlands, including planting, seeding, and translocation of native species.

  • Invasive Species Control: Identify and remove non native or invasive species using manual, mechanical, or chemical methods to support ecological balance.

  • Land Management: Undertake sustainable practices to support biodiversity and carbon capture, including constructing habitat features like ponds and wildlife corridors.

  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track plant growth and soil health to monitor habitat development and assist in data collection for environmental reporting.

  • Site Preparation & Maintenance: Prepare land for conservation (fencing, mulching, turf removal) and provide ongoing aftercare to ensure vegetation establishment.

  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery, including strimmers, brush cutters, and chainsaws.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with ecologists and project managers, while professionally communicating Ecosulis' rewilding mission to clients and the public.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

Ecosulis is an equal opportunities employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Here at Ecosulis we particularly encourage applications from women, disabled and Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates, as these groups are underrepresented throughout our industry. Appointment will always, however, be made on merit and judged against the job description and person specification.
