At Soho House, a Landscape Assistant supports the landscaping and grounds team in maintaining beautiful, safe, and functional outdoor areas for members and guests. You will assist with planting, garden care, and outdoor projects to ensure the grounds remain visually stunning and in line with the club's overall aesthetic.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for horticulture, a hands on attitude, and a willingness to work outdoors in all seasons.

- Maintain and develop all landscaped areas to an excellent standard
- Research into plantings and horticultural techniques to develop the growing estate
- Perform gardening duties such as planting, pruning, lawn mowing, wildflower maintenance, hedge cutting, weed control and mulching, irrigating planted areas, leaf collection etc.
- Completing turfing and seeding works
- Have experience of operating machinery
- Maintain tools, machinery and equipment
- Assist the production garden with growing fruit and vegetable produce
- Assisting in the installation and upkeep of various types of fences and other hard landscaping tasks around the site
What we are looking for
A successful Landscape Assistant for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You'll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a landscape assistant or similar within a similar high end environment.
- Horticultural qualification level 3 or above is advantageous but not a necessity
- Knowledge of horticulture, landscaping principles, arboriculture, and sustainable practices.
- Chainsaw certificates (desirable).
- Experience with all types of horticultural machinery.
- Understand current health and safety legislation.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
