Role Overview

We are now recruiting a reliable and hardworking Labourer Driver to join our operations team in Skelmersdale!

You will play an essential role in supporting day-to-day site activities, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This role involves general labouring duties combined with driving responsibilities and requires a strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare construction sites by clearing, tidying, and setting up work areas
  • Load, unload, move, and transport materials and equipment
  • Assist skilled tradespeople by providing tools, handling materials, and supporting tasks as required
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules at all times
  • Carry out manual handling tasks safely and responsibly
  • Support the smooth day-to-day operation of sites as directed by management
Qualifications
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Full UK driving licence, clean, held for a minimum of 2 years
  • Manual Handling training or willingness to complete
  • At least 1 year's experience in a general labouring or construction environment
  • Strong health and safety awareness
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of construction materials and tools
  • Previous experience working with skilled trades
