Job Description

Role: Laboratory Support Coordinator.

Location: Field-based - London region.

Must be able to cover the whole of London.

Occasional travel across the South of England and to Burgess Hill may be required.

Hours: Full-time.

Pay: £200 - £230 PAYE basic per day, excluding holiday pay or £265.27 - £305.06 Umbrella per day.

Contract: 12-month contract - Inside IR35.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Support Coordinator to join one of our longstanding clients, a leading organisation within the healthcare diagnostics sector.

This is a field-based role supporting laboratory customers with technical applications support, training, troubleshooting, installations, and product demonstrations across centralised laboratory solutions.

The Requirements:

  • Background in Biochemistry, Pathology, Core Lab, or Automated Laboratory environments.
  • Experience with laboratory diagnostic platforms such as Cobas 8000, Cobas Pro, Cobas Pure, Infinity, or pre-analytic systems including 8100 / CCM.
  • Strong understanding of the IVD / diagnostics industry.
  • Experience supporting pathology laboratory solutions.
  • Confident troubleshooting laboratory systems and applications.
  • Able to work independently and manage own schedule and travel.
  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
  • Must be based within the London region or nearby, or willing to relocate.
  • Willingness to travel across the London territory and stay away from home when required.

The Role:

  • Supporting laboratory system installations and go-live activity.
  • Delivering customer training on analytical platforms and systems.
  • Providing troubleshooting, technical support, and customer assistance.
  • Supporting software modifications and product maintenance.
  • Assisting with tender responses and product demonstrations.
  • Building strong customer relationships across laboratory sites.
  • Maintaining technical knowledge and supporting high service standards.
