L3 Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Greenwich, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The successful candidate must have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and previous experience supporting children with SEND within a primary school setting.
The Role- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
- Supporting children with their learning, communication and social development
- Helping pupils access the curriculum and develop independence
- Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Working closely with class teachers, the SENCO and wider school team
- Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Essential requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - essential
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school - essential
- A caring, patient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs
Location: Greenwich
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
