- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
- Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues

What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Extensive hands-on database administration experience across PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and Greenplum
- For Postgres: database provisioning, maintenance, and upgrade experience
- For Greenplum: data migration via gpcopy, performance optimisation using statistics, bloat management, GPTEXT troubleshooting, and experience with gpload/pxf/GP Spark
- For Snowflake: data lake/model design, Snowflake modelling (roles, schemas, databases), and strong SQL/complex query writing
- Scripting expertise in Shell, Python, or Ansible
- Expertise in Patroni for HADR and streaming replication
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data ingestion pipeline tools (Informatica, Talend) desirable
- Cloud computing experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud desirable
