Job Description
Kubernetes Engineer (12M Contract) - Quant Trading Firm Up to £900/day Inside IR35
One of the world's leading quantitative trading firms is searching for a highly skilled Kubernetes Engineer to help drive a major technology modernisation project. You'll play a key role in designing and building their Kubernetes infrastructure down to the control plane level.

Role Details:

- Own the design and build of their Kubernetes environment, including control plane level components such as schedulers, API proxies, and ETCD

Requirements:
- Expert-level Kubernetes experience - down to a control plane level (schedulers, API proxies, ETCD)
- Proficiency in any OO programming language, ideally Python or Go
- Solid experience in a Linux environment
- Microservices and cloud-native application experience
- Ideally possess a CKA or CKAD certification
- Familiarity with relevant tools such as Istio, Service Mesh, ArgoCD, Kustomize, and Container Orchestration
