KS2 Teacher Hackney Full-Time

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of welcoming Primary Schools across Hackney who are looking for enthusiastic and experienced KS2 Teachers to join their teams. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop your career, we have opportunities available for teachers with a range of experience.

Pay: £160-£190 per day, depending on experience and hours worked

Location: Hackney, London

Role: KS2 Teacher

Start: ASAP / September

Contract: Long-term / Temporary

This role would suit a confident KS2 Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, manage behaviour effectively and build positive relationships with pupils. You will be expected to adapt your teaching to meet the needs of individual learners while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

What will you be doing?
  • Teaching a KS2 class and delivering the full primary curriculum.
  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and the wider school team.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
Who should apply?
  • A teacher with QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching within a Primary School, ideally across KS2.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
  • The ability to differentiate lessons and support pupils with a range of abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
  • Legal Right to Work in the UK.
