Position: Full-Time KS2 Teacher

Location: Liverpool

Start Date: ASAP - July 2026

Salary: £135 - £190 per day (Salary dependent on experience)

Aspire People are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school near Tuebrook, Liverpool. This is a long-term opportunity to work in a Year 4 class from September 2026. The role is a 12 month fixed contract and is available due to a maternity cover.

This role involves providing cover across KS2 on a full-time basis, starting September 2026. The school is seeking a confident, creative, and motivated teacher who can deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire pupils and help them achieve their full potential. The school values embedding you into the culture from day one and involvement in all aspects of school life and extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging lessons across KS2
• Adapting to different classes and year groups with confidence and flexibility
• Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team to ensure continuity of learning
• Maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils to achieve their personal and academic goals

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience within a Catholic School is desirable
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (essential)
• A creative and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to provide two professional references
• Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check
