Could you be the lucky teacher who joins us here at the wonderful Wyche? Come and help us live our motto of "Together We Soar!"

About the School

Malvern Wyche C of E Primary School is looking to appoint an engaging, organized and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher to join our delightful school. We want someone who, like us, puts relationships at the heart of everything they do. We are looking for a candidate who has high aspirations for children's achievements, academically, socially and spiritually, and can help children not just to fly, but to soar.

Our school motto is Together We Soar, meaning that through mutual support, and high expectations, we can "soar on wings like eagles", (Isaiah 40) just like the buzzards which circle high above our beautiful setting on the slopes of the stunning Malvern Hills.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will teach full time in Otters, a mixed-age class of Year 3 and 4. The successful applicant will work closely with our accomplished, experienced and supportive Year 4/5 teacher, collaborating on planning, assessment and events to ensure consistency and to offer collaborative working.

We are looking for someone who can work effectively within the teacher standards and National Curriculum, whilst still bringing creativity and passion to the privilege of teaching. We hope the successful candidate will bring their own ideas and enthusiasms to the role, developing our popular provision in collaboration with the skilled and dedicated staff team and the school's supportive leadership.

The school is committed to the safeguarding and protection of children and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting their welfare is essential. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check prior to commencing employment.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process will take the form of a visit to your setting, an observed lesson here at school, and a panel interview consisting of the Headteacher, a member of the teaching staff and a school governor.

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and tours will be given on the following dates:

  • Monday 9th March at 4pm
