KS2 Teacher - Bradford

Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term / Temp to Perm
Location: Bradford (happy to travel)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher for a long-term role starting in April within the Bradford area. This is a full-time position, suitable for Experienced Teachers or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are flexible and happy to travel.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Support pupils in developing early literacy, phonics, numeracy, and foundational learning skills
• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils' confidence and wellbeing
• Use effective phonics and early reading strategies to support language development
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning and development
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Knowledge of phonics and early reading strategies (e.g. Read Write Inc, Phonics screening preparation)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A creative, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Experience planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
