KS1 Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Warrington on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT to become part of a supportive school community and make a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Create a positive, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.
• Differentiate learning effectively to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, using assessment information to inform future planning.
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations for learning and conduct.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and the wider school team.
• Build strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
• Contribute to wider school life, including assemblies, enrichment activities and school events.
• Maintain accurate records and complete relevant administrative and assessment tasks.

• Passionate about supporting children in the early stages of their education.
• Enthusiastic, creative and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
• Patient, approachable and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Confident in managing behaviour and creating a calm, purposeful learning environment.
• Able to adapt teaching to meet individual pupil needs.

• Reliable, organised and able to demonstrate a consistently professional approach.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• Right to work in the UK
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - must state minimum qualification or experience needed
• Experience working within a UK Primary School setting
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• Able to provide references to cover a 2-year period
