KS1 Long-Term Supply Teacher - Leicester
Location: Leicester Salary: £140-£160 per day Contract: Long-term supply Start Date: Immediate / ongoing
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated QTS-qualified KS1 Teacher to join a primary school in Leicester on a long-term supply basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and is passionate about building strong foundations in learning. You will play a key role in supporting children's early academic, social and emotional development while creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.

The Role
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across Key Stage 1
Support pupils in developing their early reading, writing and maths skills
Plan and adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
Create a nurturing, structured and stimulating classroom environment
Establish positive relationships with pupils and encourage confidence in learning
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support development
Promote positive behaviour, independence and classroom participation
Work closely with colleagues and school leadership to support the wider learning environment
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Previous experience teaching within a primary school, ideally across KS1
A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early learning development
Effective classroom management and lesson delivery skills
A patient, enthusiastic and nurturing approach
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
