Full Time ECT KS1 at a School in M9- Manchester. Position: ECT KS1 Immediate Start. Location: M9. Contract: Full Time Long Term - Sep 2025 - Mar 2026. Start Date: September 2025. Year group: Year 2. This role is a welcoming primary school position in Manchester, M9 seeking a dedicated HLTA to join the team for a full-time role. ECTs are encouraged to apply, as the school offers a training programme where you may be enrolled into a Teacher position if successful.
There is a track record this year of ECTs progressing to HLTA roles and some progressing to Teacher roles for the next September.
Responsibilities- Support classroom learning and assist with lesson delivery.
- Provide tailored support for students and work closely with teaching staff to implement plans for students with additional needs.
- Lead small group activities and offer one-to-one support as required.
- Contribute to the monitoring and assessment of students' progress and help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Responsible for 20-40% of classroom teaching where required.
- HLTA qualification or equivalent; experience working with children in a school environment.
- ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and use initiative.
- A passion for helping children succeed academically and socially.
