KS1 Class Teacher - Retford

Are you a passionate and nurturing KS1 Class Teacher looking for flexible, temporary ongoing work in Retford? Academics are working closely with a number of friendly and supportive primary schools across Retford who are seeking enthusiastic teachers to inspire and engage pupils in Key Stage 1.

About the Role

As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will deliver creative and engaging lessons to pupils in Years 1 and 2, supporting early literacy, numeracy and social development. You will create a warm and structured classroom environment where children feel confident, supported and motivated to learn. This role is suitable for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking supply, long-term or temp-to-perm opportunities within Retford.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom Assess and track pupil progress effectively Work collaboratively with teaching staff and leadership teams Uphold safeguarding and child protection responsibilities

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience teaching in KS1 (Years 1-2)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Creative, patient and enthusiastic teaching approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
