Aberdeen is situated in the North East of Scotland but with an easily accessible airport just fifteen minutes from the city centre it is no problem to stay connected to the whole of the UK and beyond. For example, fly to London in just over an hour at reasonable prices.
NHS Grampian therefore offers fantastic opportunities to advance your career as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist working with adults presenting with moderate-severe mental health problems in the Primary Care Psychological Therapies Service.
Interview expenses are available to all candidates and an attractive relocation allowance of up to £8000 may be available to successful candidates.
This appointment will be on a full-time and permanent basis but part time candidates are welcome to apply. The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of general adult psychology services in a primary and secondary care setting.
There are good opportunities to become involved in teaching and research activities via well established links with Aberdeen University Departments of Mental Health, Psychology, and General Practice.
