Job Overview

Premier Inn Trowbridge is looking for a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen day to day. You will manage rotas, place food orders, lead the team through busy services, and keep everything audit ready. Working closely with the Hotel Manager you will take full ownership of the kitchen from food quality to hygiene. This hands on leadership role is ideal for someone ready to build the skills to become a Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own food ordering, stock control and keeping food costs on track for the entire hotel
  • Take the lead during service by organising the team, managing workflow, and ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • Prepare, cook, and serve the menu to specification, from breakfast to pub classics
  • Ensure the kitchen always meets health, safety and hygiene standards, and keep the team trained and records up to date
  • Run shifts and help new team members settle in, stepping up when needed
  • Learn the ins and outs of kitchen management to progress to more senior roles

Job Details

Pay Rate: Up to £14.31 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week over 5 days
Contract: Fixed term until 26 August 2026
