Berkeley Scott is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join their temporary hospitality team, supporting venues, events, and sporting locations across Birmingham. This role offers flexible shifts with a competitive hourly rate of £12.71 to £14.00, dependent on experience and the client.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will assist with cleaning, washing dishes, and maintaining kitchen hygiene. The position requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. Weekly pay and immediate starts are available, providing a varied working pattern suited to your availability. This temporary contract is ideal for those seeking consistent agency work in professional hospitality settings.

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and back of house areas
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Assisting with deliveries, stock rotation, and waste disposal
- Following food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures at all times
- Working efficiently as part of a busy kitchen team
- Previous Kitchen Porter or catering experience is preferred but not essential
- Food Safety Level 2 certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Food Allergen Awareness certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
