Job Description
Contract: Full Time , Permanent
Salary: £ 12.71 per hour
Hours: 40 per week

A leading independent school situated in Moulsford, on the Oxfordshire-Berkshire border. Offers Pre school, junior and senior level education. Catering for 680 students and teachers. We offer a core feeding of breakfast and after school club, morning and afternoon break, lunch, a good amount of hospitality. This is a term time only role and operates Monday to Friday. Additional benefits to this location is free parking on site.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Oxon.

Working 8am- 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Term time only

Over 18s only

You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.

  • Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
  • Great team player
  • Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
  • Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
  • Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
  • Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

  • Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Organisation skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred.
