Job Description
Kitchen Manager (High volume) 
Location: Canning Town
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time, 45 Hours Per Week
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead the back of house operation at our high volume independent venue.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the kitchen team.
- Manage daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene compliance.
- Oversee FIFO stock rotation and stock control.
- Drive waste reduction and cost management initiatives.
- Create and manage labour schedules.
- Deliver training and ongoing team development.
- Ensure quality assurance standards are consistently met.
- Coordinate catering for corporate and private hire events.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, stock management, and labour control.
- Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing teams in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- £40,000 salary.
- Full time, 45 hour contract.
