Job Details 
Title: Kitchen Assistant
Location: Pebble Mill Care Home, Birmingham B5 7EG
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time (40 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: Flexible, early and late shifts with alternate weekend work required.
- Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents.
- Assist chefs with plating meals, preparing food trolleys and maintaining clean preparation areas.
- Monitor stock rotation and comply with company policies, COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
- Help cater for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
- Passion for food with prior kitchen experience.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Commitment to delivering excellent service and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for residents.
- Effective communication and teamwork with kitchen and care home staff.
